Oh hello my lovely,dedicated readers. (:
Had cold,chilly weather in the late afternoon. LOVELYY.
Hehes. Anyways,yesterday's FORTIS EVENT held at Mandai Garden was a blast!
It was awesome people.
Need I explain how my girls & I eventually got to be present at a well-known organization's private party,meant for its workers and special guests ?
OH! Sorry,& not forgetting 2 guys who could shake their booty too. ((;
We went through dance auditons in hope of vying for the prize which was an ipod shuffle and also a chance to perform live. I didn't REALLY want the ipod,frankly speaking.
I decided to hand it over to my brother instead.
I merely participated for the fun of it ((:
Its been some time since I've last stepped on the dancefloor. HAH!
Putting that aside,our group didn't manage to get chosen though, BUT the good news was everyone who was present at the auditions gets to go to the Fortis Party AND also gets the ipod! Amazing ain't it? The guys didn't regret joining the dance after all.
So that was the story (X

Yesterday everyone was to be at the CARE office by 1.30pm,including the participants and chosen students from other CARE affliated schools nationwide. We had a short briefing and before we boarded the bus, us students had to decorate an alphabet from the word
"THANK U FORTIS" to show appreciation to Fortis for sponsoring CARE & believing in youths of today for a better tomorrow. An hour passed and when everything was in order,we then board the bus to Mandai Garden. The place wasn't what I expected it to turn out but it was OKAY.

There were a bunch of activities taking place before the main highlight begun at around 530plus. And everything there was for free. There was a durian stall,candy floss machine,popcorn,ice-cream,chendol,mechanical bull-riding,a walking Indian man with a snake, (yikes!) reverse bungee-jumping & what have you not.
OHHHH! I was the first girl to be brave enough to tryout the reverse bungee-jump,

I was PERFECTLY AWARE that I have this uncontrollable phobia for heights but I have the urge to try it out coz' it seemes so cool! hahaha. I was shrieking like mad siaaaaa,ohgawshhh. I had a sore throat since Friday but what the hell,I could still shriek at the top of my voice even if it DID sound like a "pontianak in broad daylight" ^.^
I didn't allow anyone to use my camera to take a snapshot of me,even if they got a shot on their cameras instead.
But trust me the feeling was damn shiokkk! Whuhooo! hehes.
Ara & me were the only girls I know who tried it out. And Ara's bungee-jump was extremely higher than mine!! WHOAAA. After browsing,walking around and taking snapshots,we settled down at the center stage where the performances were just about to begin.
The first host was Daniel Ong,and Fiona Xie joined him in the late evening.It started off with a group of singers. They call themselves "JUZ B".
OHOH! They're from SUPERBAND btw. Awesome!
Ohhhhhh! They started off with a Chinese song,followed by a famous Malay song.
Cair aku dengar mereka nyanyi ;DDDD
LOL. They ended their performance with "this love" by Maroon 5.
They're sooooooo cool I tell you.
And and,3 lucky GIRLS got to take a snapshot with them; HUDA,IMAH & SHERINA.
NOOO FAAAIR ): Huda was the first to shout out "Me,me,me!!!" Kekek larh seyy. Xp
It was then followed by a fire-eating man who proceeded to play with fire and also devour it.
(ouchhh) After several showcases,it was dinner time.
There was FORTIS Idol after dinner followed by the 2 groups who made it through the auditions. OHHHHHH,before FORTIS Idol started,Project Superstar winner,Darren Tan sang a soothing Chinese song. It was freaking nice! He was hot && SUPER CUTE too! With his hair and look and all.

Imah & Elfy CLAIMED that he gazed longingly at me in front where I was sitting, NOT NOTICING. Bodoh kan,tau aku perhatikan (((:
heheeheh! Hot guy number two!! Number one was the effing cute "JUZ B" guy .

When FORTIS Idol and the 2 performers were done, the judges were to determine the winner of FORTIS Idol and the audience had to put tokens into a container according to who they rooted for. My friends & I and the other kids didn't get to witness the results as we had to be heading home. In the bus,we had to fill in the feedback form & the ipod shuffles were given out. The bus then dropped us all off at CityHall. I followed Sherina to Peninsula to meet her boyfriend and I too told MY boyfriend to fetch me there as well. He was with his cousin who had accompanied him to see the fireworks while waiting for me.
Yadah yadah yadah & I arrived home after midnight.
Was completely worn out that after my shower, I knocked out right after I donned my pyjamas.
But woke up an hour later and realised that I forgot to give dearest a call (((: nyeheh.
