Anecdote Disclosed @ 10:46 pm 18th JUNE: Day 3 was spectacular. After breakfast, we drove over to Pattaya Beach and waded through the shallow and clear waters to get to the motorised boat. Being able to sit upfront, the rush of high winds and bumpy tides were superb! Everyone seated upfront were like going "whoa!" each time the boat descended in air for a few metres. First up, the boat came to a stop in the middle of the sea at a peculiar looking port. I then realised it was a para-sailing centre! It was amazing you know, seeing people taking off by running with their parachutes and off they were gliding in mid-air as they were pulled over the sea by a jet boat. As I was a complete SUCKER for heights and being exposed to open air at a great height, I refused to participate. But deep down I really wanted to know how it feels like! (: Dad and brother participated in the event and they were brought around the area for approx. 4 minutes and they landed smoothly. They said the experience was terrific. Awwh, too bad for me laaaa. Scaredy-cat! Afterwards, we boarded the boat and proceeded to Coral Islands. We had an underwater view of the corals in the sea through a viewing glass at the bottom of the boat. Stunning~! Soon, we approached the shore and there were many events taking place. Gliding carefree on a board through the tides best gilerrrrrr~!! I must say the driver gave me a shock when he sped off soo fast!! I was screaming my lungs out and the lil' kiddo said I could be heard from a distance! But the amazing fact was I didn't plunged into the waters! My balance was steady and as I returned to the shore, I toppled chest first into the waters. HAHAH! At least I didn't topple over halfway! This was when the lil' kiddo happened to drop my mobile into the waters!!!! Grr. Now I'm without a mobile thanks to him. )))))): Do not remind me of this incident! Jet-skiing was way cooler! The instructor fled off at full speed and I was allowed to drive on my own halfway! Coooolio! (: After participating, I soaked in the sand and sea for a while longer and headed back to the beach chairs where Mummy was seated. I was kinda downcast and moody due to my mobile. Its barely a year old. )= We were at the beach for 2 hours and more and then it was time to head back to Pattaya. We got a view of the corals once again. Back in Pattaya, we had lunch and our driver was waiting outside the restaurant. We were brought to a village area and when we arrived, we entered the large hall where Muay Thai Boxing was taking place halfway through as we were late. It was then followed by cultural performances and close to the finale, baby elephants were seen dancing upfront! Adorable! Moments later, there was an Elephant showcase featuring the various antics of the elephants. I swear they were sooo intellectual and cute! They yelped out a cute sound too! Tourists fed them bananas and even tipped them some cash! They were so good! A handful of elephants were shown to be artistically talented as well. They painted a plant each such as a wide branched-out tree, sunflowers and a garden! OMG. You should see them upclose! They were then turned to t-shirts which were up for bid and they were instantly taken away by impressed tourists. -Weeeeeee~! (= -Muay Thai Boxing. - Cultutal performances. You spot those baby elephants? (: -ADORABLE! They were simply precise and look at this little one paint! - Soccer match! & this lady got a free ride. -Elephant massage! |
